Not everything the Hellfire springers do is bird hunting related! We have placed many puppies in professional Medical Detection, Search and Rescue (trailing, human remains), AKC Scentwork, Nosework, and tracking working venues. Barn Hunt is another fun hide and seek game where rats are humanely placed in plastic tubes and hidden in a straw bale course - the field springers rock at it!
Field Springers are epic CANINE ATHLETES. Without genetic health screening, breeding five generations of dogs with sound joints/heart/DNA and eyes would be impossible. Dream, below, out of FC AFC Blanco X Zephyr, is also OFA CHIC certified
Hellfire Kennels has been an ESSFTA member since 1998 - the year I made my first Master Hunter with a lovely black and white girl named Annie (never bred). Since then we have been very active in the performance sports, have owner/handler competed to the highest levels in all of them. In addition to our hunting companion and active lifestyle pet homes. we have bred over 10 Field Champions and Field Trial Winners, over 30 Master Hunters, and placed puppies in dozens of agility, obedience, rally, barn hunt, nosework and search and rescue venues. We have over 20 years of OFA results and ALL of our breeding dogs are fully health screened.
