Puppy Smack Down
We came back from Idaho with a few more breed points, which is fine but we really need a 3 point major to finish the CH. Saturday night was our coup de gras when Maverick won a huge puppy match over 120 puppies. It was a lot of fun! We received so much positive feedback and encouragement from the judges/pro handlers. It's nice to know that there are some out there that still value great movement and proper coat! It was a big show and we'll put that one on our 2014 schedule.

Time for tail feathers

The season opener of pheasants is this weekend and I'll be at a dog show in Idaho with Toby and Maverick instead! Spanky went down hard with a seed to her lung in June and is still valiently battling that, so my dad is taking out Bones and Mia.
Haley's puppies won't be big enough to drag around roosters for another month, but here is a cute picture I took of Spanky's babies (with Toby) from 2011. I was hoping I could do that breeding again, but with her current health situation being dire, I'm sad to say that it was a one time deal.
